Plum, seafoam, slate blue and celery green are a fresh alternative to classic fall colors. Whatever the color palate, it’s hard to go wrong with Hoffman’s Batik Bali Pops. The collection plays together beautifully in this pattern that resembles a brick wall. 

We wanted an edge-to-edge design to emphasize the quilt’s overall harmony. A rounded design softens the corners. Instead of circles, I chose the elongated curves of "Oriental Illusions" to echo the rectangle pieces.

Nickel, a lovely green/gray/blue thread, was the perfect choice.
