I've been very good this year. So as a Christmas gift to myself, I bought myself my dream serger.

I found an amazing deal on a secondhand Babylock Evolution. I love it! But it has some writing in Sharpie that I wanted to remove. After the dry erase marker didn't work, I got lots of suggestions and tried them all.

Removing permanent marker from a sewing machine:

• Dry erase marker (rubbing alcohol)
• Goo Gone
• Nail polish remover
• Magic Eraser
• Spray sunscreen
